What’s new

What’s new in Zera

What changed with each release, in plain words. We add to Zera every week.

  1. A new look for Zera

Zera now wears black and white, with warm orange and gold for the things that matter most. It’s calm to read, in light and in dark. The homepage at zera.church now tells the whole story, from your church’s TV channel to the member app, giving and care.

  2. A steadier daily reading

Ticking off your reading now always holds. If two taps go together, or a slow connection answers late, the tick you made last is the one that stays. And on a busy morning, saving your first step of the day no longer fails.

  3. Clips for the feed and WhatsApp, and sermon notes

Mark a moment while you’re live, then make a short clip of it from the replay, 15 to 60 seconds long. Post it to your church’s feed, or share it on WhatsApp. During the sermon, the pastor can send the main points to everyone watching, one at a time. Members can keep their own notes beside the service, and those notes stay theirs alone.

  4. A run sheet, a report, and every first-timer followed up

Link a plan from the Planner to a service, and its run sheet is in the control room: every part in order, what’s on now and what’s next. When the service ends, a report shows how many watched, the replay’s viewers and the moments that moved people. The first time a visitor checks in online, a follow-up is made for whoever ran the service. You can also send them a welcome text. It’s off until you switch it on, and you see the cost first.

  5. Our own player, made for church

Services and replays now play in Zera’s own player, with your church’s logo and colour. Replays have chapters, like YouTube, so you can jump to the worship or the sermon. Sermon only takes you straight to the preaching. Moments that moved the church shows the three minutes with the most reactions. Every church on Zera Plus has its own channel page, with a countdown to the next service and Remind me, so nobody misses the start.

  6. Your verse, your look

Choose how the verse looks on your live picture: its size, its font, where it sits and its background. A long verse now scrolls gently, so all of it is read. You can also show a lower third: a name and a line under it, like a pastor and their title, along the bottom of the picture. For churches on Zera Plus.

  7. Zera Plus, priced by the size of your church

Zera Plus now costs less for a smaller church. You pick your size and pay for that, and each branch adds a little. Paying by the year costs less than paying each month. When Zera gives your church an offer, such as a founding church price, you see it on your Plus page and on your receipt. You can also type an offer code when you pay. If a price ever changes, we tell you 30 days before.

  8. Live services: Listen only works, and a neater room on your phone

Listen only plays the sound again, with no picture, so it saves your data. If the picture stops, the service pauses after two minutes. It ends by itself after 15 minutes, so nobody waits for a service that has stopped. You can change the 15 minutes in Live settings. On a phone the room is neat and compact: the video at the top, the chat under it and the message box at the foot. Replays now show each verse at the moment it was shown live.

Give every member a home this Sunday.
